Energy Recovery System
Product Information
Atlas Copco energy recovery control units transfer the energy recovered from lube oil to generate hot water or hot air. It can recover upto 80% of the KW of the installed main motor. It reduces the requirement of electricity and/or fossil fuel. The design ensures perfect and easy integration of energy recovery systems in a wide variety of different applications.
Air Optimization & Air Audit
- For an Energy Efficiency Audit of your air distribution system, Atlas Copco employs its own Energy Efficiency Calculator to recommend a correct air line installation. This will result in higher productivity with lower energy consumption and a sustainable reduction in energy costs – and the benefits don’t end there.
- Leak Detection: Compressed air leakage is synonymous for evaporating money! Between 10 and 25% leakage is typical in most systems. Atlas copco’s leak check identifies tags and quantifies these leaks throughout your compressed air system. To immediately start saving money,
- Power Measurement: Power Measurement for each compressor can be carried out one at a time. Values such as current, voltage, frequency, power factor, etc... Can be logged. Where other audits use clamps or rely on the customer’s originally installed power meters to estimate power usage, Atlas Copco’s method measures the actual consumed power, non-intrusively. This check is available for all the types of compressors over a pre-determined period, usually 7 days. The results give an accurate overview of the money you are spending annually on the production of compressed air.
- Flow Measurement: Compressed air flow would be measured. This test accurately measures and logs the delivered flow of compressed air on any compressor make or type. The flow meter can be inserted into an existing point or the system can be “hot tapped”, without interrupting your production
